Collapsible cranberry pie
Juicy and fragrant pie with winter cranberries. Easily disassembled into portioned pieces.
Ingredients
- puff pastry 500 g
- cranberries 1 cup (s)
- brown sugar 1 cup (s)
- orange peel 1 tsp.
- strong brewed tea 3 tbsp
- flour (for dusting) 4 tbsp.
- vegetable oil 1 tbsp
- powdered sugar (for serving) 1 tbsp.
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
For the filling, put the pan on the fire and add half of the brown sugar, when it melts, add the cranberries. Cover with a lid, otherwise the cranberries will explode and splatter. Heat for 5-7 minutes, until the cranberries produce copious juice. Remove from heat. This is the filling for the pie.
Step 2
Roll out the puff pastry, dusting the work surface with flour.
Step 3
Spread the rest of the brown sugar over the rolled dough. Put the filling on top. Gently roll into a roll and cut the roll into equal pieces, about 5-6 cm high.
Step 4
Cover the form with baking paper. Lubricate with vegetable oil. Put pieces of roll on it. Pour the future pie with strong brewed black tea.
