Crocodile pie stuffed with minced meat, onions and cabbage
I made this pie for my little daughter; children always like the filling of young cabbage, minced meat and onions.
Ingredients
- for dough: dry yeast 11 g
- sugar 2 tbsp
- salt 1 pinch (s)
- egg 1 pc.
- milk 250 ml
- vegetable oil 6 tablespoons
- flour 500 g
- for the filling: a head of young cabbage (small) 1 pc.
- minced meat (I have beef) 500 g
- onion 3 pcs.
- salt 2 pinch (s)
- pepper 1 pinch (s)
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
In a large cup, mix everything at once: egg, yeast, milk, vegetable oil, salt and sugar. We measure out about 500 gr. flour and knead the dough, adding flour gradually, until it stops sticking to your hands. We form a ball.
Step 2
Let's take care of the filling: fry everything separately, cabbage, onion and minced meat. Salt and pepper to taste. Then we put everything together and mix.
Step 3
We form the nostrils of the Crocodile, from scraps of dough we sculpt paws and eye-eyebrows. We make fangs with scissors along the edge of the jaw, without cutting to the end.
Step 4
We also use scissors to create irregularities throughout the body. Bake in the oven at 200 ° C until browning. 10 minutes before readiness grease the "animal" with a beaten egg.
