Farmer`s pie with herbs and tomatoes
It's autumn in the yard and you want something nourishing already). Pie with curd cheese, herbs and tomatoes is quick and delicious. Everything in this pie is delicious ... both the filling and no less delicious shortbread dough.
Ingredients
- wheat flour (dough) 200 g
- butter (dough) 140 g
- chicken egg (1 pc in the dough + 1 pc in the filling) 2 pcs.
- sugar (dough) 0.5 tsp
- salt (dough) 1 tsp
- TM Hohland curd cheese (filling) 400 g
- sour cream (filling) 100 g
- green onions (filling) 1 bunch
- garlic (cloves in the filling) 2 pcs.
- tomatoes (filling) 2 pcs.
- pepper to taste (filling)
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Mix flour with salt, sugar. Cut the cold butter into small pieces. Add 1 egg and butter to the flour. Knead the dough. Roll it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Mix curd cheese with sour cream, 1 egg, salt and pepper to taste. I added just a little salt as the cheese is salty. Add chopped herbs and finely chopped garlic, stir.
Step 3
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and distribute it in the shape, forming the sides. The tart is designed for a shape of 20-22 cm in diameter, I have an oval shape with a diameter of about 20 cm ... Put the filling, tomatoes cut into circles on top,
Step 4
Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes ... until golden brown.
