Fish in spicy-sweet glaze
Honey gives the fish a sweetness, and Maheev's Chili ketchup gives it a pleasant spiciness. Together they make a great tandem.
Ingredients
- fresh or frozen fish 500 g
- egg white 1 pc.
- freshly ground black pepper 1 pinch
- starch for fish 2 tablespoons
- ketchup "Chili" Maheev 3 tbsp.
- honey 1 tbsp
- white grape vinegar 1 tbsp
- soy sauce tbsp
- salt 2 pinches
- glaze starch 1 tsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Prepare the glaze for cooking fish. To do this, combine Maheev's "Chili" ketchup, honey, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, salt, starch. Stir the mixture with a whisk.
Step 2
In fish, separate the fillets with skin from the bones. Cut fillets with skin into small strips.
Step 3
Sprinkle the fish with starch and pepper, mix.
Step 4
Beat the egg white until foamy.
Step 5
Put the protein to the fish with starch and mix.
Step 6
Pour oil into a frying pan, heat it up. Put pieces of fish in boiling oil and fry over high heat until golden brown.
Step 7
Add honey-tomato glaze to the fried fish, mix gently, trying not to break the fish pieces.
Step 8
Fry until the glaze covers all the fish and there is practically no more of it in the pan. This will take a few minutes.
Step 9
Put the finished fish on a plate. Serve with any side dish. I used cabbage salad as a side dish.
