Fried potatoes
Potatoes can be fried raw (with or without skins) or pre-boiled. We chose the first case and fried it in a skillet with vegetable oil, if desired, you can use fragrant sunflower.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of potatoes for frying
- vegetable oil
- salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel the potatoes. Cut into cubes or wedges.
Step 2
Transfer to a large bowl, cover with cold water and let sit for 45-60 minutes. Stir the potatoes with your hands several times. Drain the water. Pour clean cold water over and discard in a colander. Spread the potatoes on paper towels, cover with others, and dry the potatoes slightly.
Step 3
Fry the potatoes in a skillet, turning them from time to time, in a sufficient amount of salted vegetable oil until cooked through. Serve hot.
