Gent
Zhent is a traditional Kaha dish that is usually prepared for holidays and special occasions. Zhent is made from millet groats and served with tea as a dessert.
Ingredients
- 500 g of wheat
- 200 g of sugar
- 180 g butter
- 150 g raisins
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Fry the millet in a dry skillet. Transfer it to the bowl of a food processor or blender along with the sugar and chop it.
Step 2
Melt the butter. Mix raisins with chopped millet with sugar and melted butter.
Step 3
Put the resulting mass in a rectangular shape, refrigerate for 1 hour. Then cut the zhent with a hot knife into small rectangles and serve.
