Ingredients
  • 800 ml of kefir
  • 5 eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 100 ml ghee, plus some more for lubrication
  • 2/3 tsp soda
  • 1 tbsp. l. very fatty sour cream
  • sugar
  • salt
  • sour cream, salted fish, or jam for serving

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Beat the kefir and 3 eggs until smooth. Gradually, stirring, add the sifted flour, 1 tsp each. salt and sugar. Stir until smooth.
Step 2
Pour melted butter into the dough, add baking soda, mix. Let the dough stand for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Bake thin pancakes in a well-heated, buttered skillet.
Step 4
Whisk remaining eggs with sour cream and a pinch of salt and sugar. Using a cooking brush, brush each pancake with the resulting mixture and stack in a baking dish on top of each other. Brush the top pancake with the egg mixture as well.
Step 5
Place in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 10-15 minutes. Serve the pancake hot, with sour cream, salted fish or jam.
