Pancakes with grilled bananas

A classic American dessert that suits the Russian Maslenitsa very much. It's not just pancakes - it's a whole pancake cake. For every day, the cake is not the right dish, but at the end of the Pancake Week it is the very thing.

Pancakes with grilled bananas
Ingredients
  • milk 3.2% - 350 ml
  • live yeast - 8 g
  • wheat flour - 240 g
  • baking powder - 1.5 g
  • sugar - 100 g
  • salt - 2.5 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • butter - 90 g
  • vegetable oil - 8 ml
  • peeled bananas - 400 g
  • nutella - 210 g
  • icing sugar - 2 g

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Warm milk (20 ml), add yeast and stir until they are completely dissolved.
Step 2
Sift flour, add baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix everything.
Step 3
Pour the remaining milk into the mixer bowl, add eggs and milk with yeast. Stir with a whisk until smooth. Add melted non-hot butter (70 g of the total).
Step 4
Gradually add prepared flour to the bowl, constantly stirring the mass with a mixer. Leave the resulting dough in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5
Grease a frying pan with a mixture of butter and vegetable oils. Pour 70 ml of dough into a ladle, pour into a hot frying pan and form a pancake 12 cm in diameter. Fry it on both sides until golden brown. Bake 6 pancakes (3 per serving).
Step 6
Grease a grill pan with vegetable oil (6 ml) and heat the pancakes on it until the grill grate forms. Grease the pancakes with butter.
Step 7
Cut the bananas into rings 0.5–0.7 cm thick (10 g each) and fry in butter.
Step 8
Put 3 pancakes in a stack on a plate, grease each pancake with Nutella and put banana slices on it. Lay out the second serving on a separate board in the same way.
