Salad of young cabbage and pears neshi with mint and ginger dressing
Young cabbage is very good only in salads and snacks. Maybe also in pies. But borscht with it will definitely not turn out perfect. And we do not offer borscht. This salad with pears and honey-mint dressing is ideal for meat and poultry, for example, for any ribs or chicken legs, grilled.
Ingredients
- 1 head of young cabbage
- 2 medium nash pears
- 1 medium red sweet onion
- 1 small bunch of mint
- 3 cm fresh ginger root
- 2 h l. Teddy bear
- juice and zest of 2 limes
- 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Chop the cabbage into thin strips. Peel and core the pears and cut into the same strips, but slightly thicker. Peel the onion.
Step 2
For dressing, peel the ginger and grate on a fine grater. Place the mint leaves in a tall, narrow glass in a hand blender, add all other ingredients and whisk.
Step 3
Mix prepared vegetables, fill with dressing, mix thoroughly, let it brew for 5 minutes. and serve with grilled ribs, wings and legs.
