Seafood cocktail in "pink" glaze with rice
Light seafood dish in creamy tomato glaze. Rice is ideal for garnish. The dish can be offered to the family for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- frozen sea cocktail 500 g
- onion 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- cocktail starch 1 tbsp
- vegetable oil 2 tbsp
- cream 10% 200 ml
- ketchup "Krasnodarskiy" Maheev 3 tbsp.
- Teriyaki sauce 1 tbsp
- sugar 2 tablespoons
- salt 1 tsp
- ground black pepper 2 pinches
- long grain rice 1 cup
- ginger root 20 g
- glaze starch 2 tbsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Rinse the rice, put in boiling salted water, cook. Throw in a colander. Place in a saucepan, keep warm until serving.
Step 2
Defrost the seafood cocktail in advance. Drain off excess water, pat dry with paper towel.
Step 3
Peel, wash, dry onions, garlic, ginger. Finely chop the onion. Grate ginger and garlic on a fine grater. Sprinkle the seafood cocktail with pepper and starch, stir.
Step 4
Prepare the icing. To do this, combine cream, ketchup "Krasnodar" Maheev, teriyaki sauce, starch, sugar, salt, stir until smooth.
Step 5
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat. Add onion and fry until golden brown for a few minutes. Add ginger and garlic, continue to fry for 2 minutes. Add a seafood cocktail and fry over high heat for 2 - 3 minutes.
Step 6
Pour in the glaze, fry over high heat for several minutes. Then reduce the heat and fry for a few more minutes until thickened.
Step 7
Put rice on a plate, put a sea cocktail on top. Decorate with herbs.
