Curd casserole can be not only a dessert, but also an appetizer, if prepared, for example, with fish. Hot smoked salmon or mackerel go well with cottage cheese - tested.
Ingredients
- 500 g of cottage cheese 5-9% fat
- 1 large bunch of parsley
- 100 g salmon, mackerel or other hot smoked fish
- 1 boiled carrot
- 3 eggs
- 5 tbsp. l. semolina
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 30 g savory hard cheese (e.g. aged emmental)
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Whisk the curd in a blender until smooth. Chop the parsley. Thoroughly clean the fish from bones and disassemble into small segments. Grate the carrots.
Step 2
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Mash the yolks with cottage cheese, beat the whites until fluffy.
Step 3
Add semolina and baking powder to the curd, knead well. Then add 2 tbsp. l. olive oil, herbs, grated carrots and pieces of fish. Stir.
Step 4
Using a spatula, gently whisk the whites into the curd. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Grease the tins with a diameter of 6-8 cm with the remaining olive oil, put the curd mass in them and send to the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 25-30 minutes.
