Apple, Mango and Raisin Chutney

Instead of mango, you can use pineapple, and instead of raisins, you can use fresh seedless grapes.

Apple, Mango and Raisin Chutney
Ingredients
  • 3 sour apples
  • 2 large unripe mangoes
  • 100 g light raisins
  • 150 ml orange juice
  • 2 cm fresh ginger root
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1 tsp red Abkhaz adjika
  • salt

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Soak raisins in orange juice for 1 tsp.
Step 2
Peel the mango, cut from the pit and cut into medium pieces. Prepare the apples as well. Peel and cut the ginger into thin strips.
Step 3
In a skillet, bring the raisins, orange juice, ginger and adjika mixture to a boil.
Step 4
Add apples and mangoes and mix thoroughly. After 1 min. add sugar and salt. Cover, reduce heat, and cook until the fruit is tender. Add some water if necessary. Cool completely before serving. Drizzle with olive oil. This chutney goes well with meat, poultry, fish.
