Tartlets with strawberries and butter cream are a dessert that is easy to prepare, but looks very festive and tempting. Such a dessert can be prepared even in the country with an oven.

Tartlets with strawberries and butter cream
Ingredients
  • 300 g strawberries
  • 100 g light cane sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 500 g ready-made shortcrust pastry
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 250 ml cream, 33% fat
  • whipped cream and mint

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
In a saucepan, combine 200 g of chopped strawberries and 25 g of sugar, simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, until the berries are tender. Cool it down.
Step 2
Roll out the dough and cut 6 circles out of it to fit the molds. Put the dough into the molds, prick with a fork, cover with baking paper and cover with dry beans.
Step 3
Put in an oven preheated to 170 ° C for 10 minutes. Then remove the weight and paper and bake for another 5 minutes. Place cooked strawberries in tartlets.
Step 4
Whisk the yolks with milk, cream, vanilla sugar and cane sugar. Pour the mixture over the berries without going over the edges of the dough. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Step 5
Cool the tartlets, remove from the molds, garnish with the remaining strawberries, mint and cream.
