Turkish soup Edna
The soup is very colorful, simple and satisfying.
Ingredients
- dry chickpeas 1 cup (s)
- olive oil 2 tablespoons
- tomatoes, skinned and diced 3 pcs.
- broth (chicken or beef) 6 tablespoons
- minced beef (chicken) 200 g
- hot pepper or a few drops of Tabasco
- salt
- spice
- wine vinegar
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Chickpea preparation. Soak the chickpeas for 4-8 hours in a large amount of water at room temperature (for 1 tbsp of chickpea - 4 tablespoons of water). If soaked in hot water, the vegetable proteins in the shell will curl up and the chickpeas will be in a hard, indigestible peel. Drain the liquid in which the chickpeas were soaked, pour cold water over the peas, put on high heat, let it boil, remove the foam if necessary, switch to the lowest heat and cook for 1-2 hours.
