Vegetable kebab with halloumi cheese
Halloumi cheese seems to have been made especially for frying. It can withstand high temperatures and does not melt. Pairing it with vegetables is a good idea for a quick and tasty snack.
Ingredients
- 50 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp wine vinegar
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried mint
- 2 medium courgettes
- 2 red onions
- 1 sprig of cherry tomatoes
- 450 g halloumi cheese
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the oil, lemon juice, vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, and mint. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Cut the courgettes, onions, tomatoes so that it is convenient to put on wooden skewers. Cut the halloumi cheese into cubes.
Step 3
Place vegetables and cheese alternately on the skewers. Sprinkle oil on your grill or nonstick skillet. Fry the kebabs until golden brown by the cheese.
