Vietnamese eggs in a fur coat
Want to surprise your loved ones for dinner with something new, but not spend a lot of time on it? Prepare the eggs in a spicy minced pork fur coat. This dish will appeal even to those who are not very familiar with the cuisine of Southeast Asia, because there are no special ingredients in it, everything can be bought in a regular store.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 250 g pork pulp
- 2 feathers of green onions
- 4 sprigs of cilantro
- 2 tsp rice wine or water
- 1 tbsp. l. corn starch
- 1 tbsp. l soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- vegetable oil for deep fat
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
1. Put eggs in a small saucepan, cover with cold water and put on fire. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and hard-boil eggs, 6 minutes. Pour cold water over eggs and peel. Cool it down.
Step 2
2. Rotate the pork through a fine grinder.
Step 3
3. Finely chop green onions and cilantro and mix with pork. Add salt, chili flakes, soy sauce, rice wine and cornstarch, and knead well.
Step 4
4. Divide the minced meat into 4 parts. Take one part of the minced meat in your hand and make a thin flat cake out of it. Wrap the egg in the minced meat, spreading it evenly over the entire surface so that the egg is completely covered.
Step 5
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan at least 5 cm thick and gently lower the eggs. Fry, turning the eggs from one side to the other, until golden brown, 7-10 minutes.
Step 6
6. Use a slotted spoon to gently transfer the eggs onto crumpled paper towels. Cut eggs in half and serve hot with green salad.
