Wine mussels in blue cheese
A gourmet dish for romantic dinners or with friends. Recommended to be served with chilled sparkling wine.
Ingredients
- mussels 1 kg
- Dor Blue cheese 0.250 kg
- leeks 3 pcs.
- dry white wine 250 ml
- olive oil 15 ml
- seaweed 150g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Soak the mussels in the flaps in cold water. Meanwhile, cut the white leek stalk into thin rings and toss into a preheated frying pan with olive oil. Close with a lid and simmer until half cooked for about 15-20 minutes over low heat. We constantly interfere. The leeks will give off liquid.
Step 2
Gently break off the top flap of the mussels, discard it, and then slightly squeeze the fish itself from the water. Throw them into a skillet with leeks. Fill with white wine. We spread the finely chopped algae (I use the actually prepared, but if you don't make the algae yourself, then you can take 1 canned jar, after draining the liquid). Simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes, also under a closed lid. Stir occasionally.
Step 3
The last step is to add Dor Blue cheese, cut into cubes. Cook until it turns into a white sauce with the wine and leek liquid (about 10 minutes more). Our hearty dish is ready! Serve in a deep frying pan with the sauce. Enjoy your evening and your appetite.
