Antep ezmesi
Antep ezmesi is a traditional Turkish salad appetizer consisting of vegetables. Very light, refreshing yet pungent. It is always served at the table before the main course, because this appetizer is not served to satisfy hunger, but on the contrary - to whet the appetite before a rich and satisfying Turkish meal!
Ingredients
- tomato 3 pcs.
- sweet pepper 2 pcs.
- hot pepper 1 pc.
- 1 bunch parsley
- tomato paste 2 tbsp
- dried mint 0.5 tsp.
- lemon juice 1 tsp
- olive oil 1 tbsp
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Cut the tomatoes and two peppers into small cubes. If you like it sharper, then leave the seeds in the hot pepper.
Step 2
Add tomato paste, dried mint and chopped parsley.
Step 3
Season with olive oil and lemon juice. Don't forget to add salt.
Step 4
Serve before hot. Enjoy your meal!
