Apple pancakes with cinnamon and homemade caramel
As a child, I loved caramel candies more than chocolates. Chocolate always flew in an instant. I stretched the caramel ones, ate slowly, one at a time. There was no limit to my joy when I found out that caramel can be made at home. Mom that day scrubbed the pans from burnt sugar for a long time. These are pancakes with caramel sauce. And add the grated apple to the dough. They melt in your mouth and cheer you up for the whole day.
Ingredients
- red apples 2 pcs.
- eggs 2 pcs.
- flour 250 g
- milk 250 ml
- baking powder 1 tsp
- butter 30 g
- cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- sugar 80 g
- cream 20% 50 ml
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Grate one apple on a fine grater. Cut the second apple into 1 x 1 cm cubes. Combine eggs and 1/3 sugar in a deep bowl. Pour in milk. Mix thoroughly. Add flour and baking powder. Knead the dough. Add the grated apple. Stir. Heat a skillet with a drop of vegetable oil. Pour the dough into the pan with a tablespoon. Roast for 1 minute. from each side.
Step 2
Make caramel. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the remaining sugar. Add the apple cubes. Simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture turns amber brown. Pour in the cream. Add cinnamon. Boil the mixture for 2 minutes. until uniform. Drizzle with caramel before serving. Serve warm.
