Baked apples with suzma and pine nuts
Ingredients
- 4 large sour green apples
- 4 figs
- 4 tsp pine nuts
- 4 tsp stevia syrup, optional
- For suzma:
- 400 g fat-free yogurt
- 0.5-1 tsp cinnamon
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
For suzma, line the bowl with a tea towel or folded gauze. Spread out the yogurt, lift the edges of the fabric and tie in a bag. Hang the liquid to glass for 2 hours. Then mix the weighed yogurt with cinnamon to taste.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 160 ° C. For apples, carefully cut out the core from above, without cutting through the apple. Use a toothpick to chop the apples on all sides to prevent them from bursting during baking.
Step 3
Chop the figs finely, mix with pine nuts. Stuff the apples with this mixture.
Step 4
Place the apples in a baking dish, pour some water into the bottom. Pour a spoonful of stevia syrup into each apple on top of the filling, if desired. Place in the oven, bake until the apples are soft, about 25 minutes.
Step 5
Serve the apples hot with cinnamon sauce.
