Baked chicken legs in mustard marinade with "Mulled wine" jam
I love to bake chicken with the addition of jam, but perhaps this is the most successful recipe for baked chicken. The slight pungency of mustard marinade and the Mulled Wine jam added mild sweetness and subtle aromas of cinnamon and orange, resulting in a wonderful dish worthy of a festive New Year's table!
Ingredients
- chicken legs 1 kg
- marinade "Mustard" TM "Maheev" 100 g
- jam "Mulled wine" TM "Maheev" 1 tbsp.
- water 0.5 glass (s)
- black tea 4 tbsp
- greens 15 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Cut the chicken legs along the joint into 2 parts.
Step 2
Fold into a container convenient for pickling. Add mustard marinade.
Step 3
Mix. Add jam.
Step 4
Stir and marinate for 1 hour.
Step 5
Pour black tea into a foil mold, add water.
Step 6
Put a suitable grid on the mold. Place the chicken on the wire rack.
Step 7
Brush with marinade on top. Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake for 40 minutes. Then, increase the temperature of the oven and let it brown.
Step 8
Decorate the finished dish with herbs.

What is tea in this recipe for? It does not affect the taste, it is just a way of baking on the wire rack. Dripping grease does not stain the oven, and there is no unpleasant smell of burning fat in the kitchen.
