Chicken in a creamy sauce

When time is short, but you want to eat tasty and fast, run to the refrigerator - a bird will fly out of there. Add tender cream, a little white wine, a bouquet of garni - and a romantic dish is guaranteed!

Ingredients
  • 6 boneless chicken thighs
  • 10 small mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 bouquet garni (each sprig of thyme, rosemary and parsley + bay leaf)
  • 100 ml dry white wine
  • 300 ml cream, 20% fat
  • 0.5 tsp sweet ground paprika
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper
  • baguette for serving

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Season the thighs with salt and pepper on all sides. Wipe the champignons with a napkin, cut into quarters.
Step 2
Peel the garlic and onion and chop finely. Melt butter in a frying pan, put onion and garlic in it along with a bouquet of garni and heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in the wine, bring to a boil, evaporate for 1 minute. Reduce heat to low, pour in cream. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes. Serve in deep bowls with a baguette.
