Chicken liver in tomato and cherry glaze
The liver according to this recipe turns out to be unusually tasty and aromatic.
Ingredients
- chicken liver 500 g
- hops-suneli 1 tsp.
- sweet paprika 1 tsp
- cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- starch for the liver 2 tablespoons
- ketchup "Shashlychny" Maheev 3 st.l.
- soy sauce 2 tbsp
- cherry syrup 2 tbsp
- balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp
- glaze starch 1 tsp
- salt 2 pinches
- freshly ground black pepper 1 pinch
- vegetable oil 50 ml
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wash the liver thoroughly, put on a sieve to drain all the water. Additionally, wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Sprinkle the liver with hop-suneli seasoning, add paprika, cinnamon, mix and leave for 15 minutes.
Step 2
After the time has elapsed, add starch to the liver, mix.
Step 3
For glaze, combine Maheev's "Shashlik" ketchup, cherry syrup, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, add salt, pepper, starch, mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Pour oil into the pan, heat it. Put pieces of liver and fry on all sides until golden brown. Then reduce the heat and fry for 7 - 10 minutes over medium heat.
Step 5
Put the icing on top of the fried liver, stir. Increase the fire and fry for 2 - 3 minutes over high heat. Then reduce and fry a little more until all the glaze covers the liver.
Step 6
Divide the liver into portions. As a side dish, you can serve pasta, rice, mashed potatoes or vegetables, fresh vegetables and herbs.
