Herring with potatoes under tomato marinade in the oven.
The herring cooked in the oven turns out to be tasty and satisfying, herbs and spices give it an unusual taste and aroma, and as a side dish there will be potatoes with which the fish was cooked.
- fresh herring 2 pcs.
- potatoes 7 pcs.
- tomato ketchup 5 tbsp
- water 80 ml
- spices for fish 3 tbsp
- mustard beans 1 d.l
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- garlic 1 tsp
- lemon 1 pc.
- basil, thyme, rosemary one sprig
- olive oil 4 tablespoons
- greens for decoration
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
To make the fish aromatic, juicy and tasty, we will prepare a marinade with TM "Maheev" ketchup and spices. To do this, pour 80 ml of hot boiled water into a deep cup, add ketchup, mix, add fish spices and mustard grains, mix well again.
Cut off the head and tail of the herring, clean the insides, rinse, put in a deep cup and fill with the resulting marinade. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
Wash the potatoes, peel, cut in half lengthwise and put in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle garlic with slices over the potatoes and pour with olive oil.
We put fish on top of the potatoes. Pour the remaining marinade over the herring and potatoes.
Sprinkle with basil, thyme and rosemary.
Cover the mold with foil and bake the herring with potatoes in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 30 minutes.
Then remove the foil, put lemon slices on top of the fish and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
We decorate with fresh herbs and serve immediately, while it is hot, but even when cooled down, the fish is very tasty and tender, because it was marinated in marinade with TM "Maheev" ketchup !!! Enjoy your meal!!!
