Hot rum with clove oil
This is, to put it mildly, not the most traditional drink for our latitudes. Which is very strange - after all, you can get warm and even gorge on them in record time. And then - it's very tasty.
Ingredients
- 400 ml rum of your choice
- 200 g sweet butter
- 180 g dark brown muscovado sugar
- 198 ml flower honey
- 2-3 cloves
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Put cloves and some sugar in a mortar. Rub as little as possible.
Step 2
Soften the butter at room temperature in a deep bowl. Beat with a mixer until fluffy and, without turning off the mixer, add sugar with cloves and all the remaining sugar. Then pour honey in a thin stream.
Step 3
The rest should be done at the table where guests are already sitting. Pour 40 ml of rum into heat-resistant transparent mugs, add boiling water so that about 3 cm remains to the edge.
Step 4
Place a large tablespoon of clove oil in each cup and serve immediately.
