Jellied Pie with Cabbage and Eggs
The pie is easy to prepare and delicious. Can be used as a second course for lunch. It can also be served for dinner as a separate dish or for tea.
Ingredients
- a small head of white cabbage 1 pc.
- boiled eggs 3 pcs.
- mayonnaise 2 tbsp.
- butter 50 g
- cheese 100 g
- tmin 1 h.l.
- salt 0.5 tsp
- ground black pepper 1 pinch
- chicken eggs 2 pcs.
- kefir 0.5 l
- flour 3 cups
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- soda 1 tsp
- salt 2 pinches
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wash, dry, chop cabbage. Boil the cabbage until soft in salted water, discard in a colander, cool. Grind with a blender.
Step 2
Boil eggs hard-boiled, cool.
Step 3
Finely chop the eggs, combine with cabbage, mayonnaise, cheese, caraway seeds. Salt.
Step 4
For the dough, beat eggs with salt, add butter, kefir.
Step 5
Pour in flour with soda and pepper. On a greased baking sheet, pour half of the dough, spread the filling and add the remaining dough. Bake at 180 ºС for 40 - 45 minutes.
Step 6
Put the finished pie out of the mold on a dish, cut into portions.
