Kebbe
Kebbe is essentially meat cutlets stuffed with nuts. You can take any minced meat: pork, beef or lamb.
Ingredients
- minced meat 150 g
- onion 1 pc.
- ground walnuts 1/2 cup (s)
- cinnamon 1 tsp
- curry 1 tsp
- salt pepper
- frying oil
- minced meat 600 g
- barley groats 1/2 cup (s)
- wheat groats 1/2 cup (s)
- salt
- cover
- white cabbage 300 g
- apples 2 pcs.
- radish 1 pc.
- salt, sugar
- white wine vinegar 1 tbsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
The foundation. Mix the cereals, rinse and soak for 1 hour. Drain water, mix with minced meat, add spices, set aside.
Step 2
Filling. Finely chop the onion and fry, add minced meat, spices and nuts. Fry, breaking the lumps with a spatula. Cool down.
Step 3
Roll a ball out of the base, give it a flat cake, put the filling in the center, close it up. Form a cutlet. Fry the cutlets on both sides until tender.
