Oat crumble with pears
Crumble is an American baked dessert with crunchy nut crumbs with flour or cereal on top. Fast and delicious! And yes, vegetable oil can be frozen and sliced too.
Ingredients
- 6 ripe firm pears
- 200 g of dark brown sugar
- 100 g vegetable or butter + more for lubrication
- 100 g roasted almonds
- 100 g oatmeal "Hercules"
- 50 g flour
- fruit sorbet for serving
- salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Freeze both vegetable and butter beforehand. Then cut into small cubes, add to the nut-flour mixture and crush into crumbs with your fingers.
Step 2
Cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 15 minutes. Brush generously with a 26 cm solid baking dish and sprinkle with 1/3 of the sugar.
Step 3
Finely chop almonds, mix with rolled oats, flour, 2/3 sugar and salt.
Step 4
Remove the core from the pear, cut the pulp into large slices. Crumble the dough on top. Place in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 35-40 minutes. Cool slightly before serving. Serve with a scoop of sorbet.
