"Pink" cabbage

The dish is perfect as a side dish for fatty meat and poultry. It can also be used for a lean table.

"Pink" cabbage
  • white cabbage small head of cabbage 1 pc.
  • onion 1 pc.
  • carrots 1 pc.
  • juice of one boiled beet
  • pickled plums marinade 100 ml
  • pickled plums for serving
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • sugar to taste
  • vegetable oil


Step 1
Cut onion and carrots into short strips, fry in oil until half cooked.
Step 2
Add shredded cabbage, mix. Cover, simmer over low heat until almost cooked.
Step 3
A few minutes before the end of stewing, add beetroot juice and plum marinade. Put salt, sugar, pepper to taste, mix. Serve with baked meat or poultry with pickled plums.
