The dish is perfect as a side dish for fatty meat and poultry. It can also be used for a lean table.
- white cabbage small head of cabbage 1 pc.
- onion 1 pc.
- carrots 1 pc.
- juice of one boiled beet
- pickled plums marinade 100 ml
- pickled plums for serving
- salt to taste
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- sugar to taste
- vegetable oil
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Cut onion and carrots into short strips, fry in oil until half cooked.
Add shredded cabbage, mix. Cover, simmer over low heat until almost cooked.
A few minutes before the end of stewing, add beetroot juice and plum marinade. Put salt, sugar, pepper to taste, mix. Serve with baked meat or poultry with pickled plums.
