Satsivi with chicken in Sochi

Satsivi is the name of both a sauce and a popular dish that is cooked in Georgia. You can cook anything you want with satsivi sauce - meat, fish, vegetables. But most often satsivi is cooked with chicken. This is the most classic and favorite option.

Satsivi with chicken in Sochi
Ingredients
  • sunflower oil - 100 ml
  • paprika noble - 40 g
  • medium-sized village chicken - 1 pc
  • adjika - 0.03 g
  • sunflower oil - 0.03 g
  • chicken broth - 380 ml
  • walnuts - 170 g
  • garlic - 10 g
  • fenugreek - 2 g
  • Imeretian saffron - 1 g
  • ground coriander - 2 g
  • chili flakes - 2 g
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • chicken - 150 g
  • sauce - 100 ml
  • red oil - 1 tablespoon
  • cilantro - 1 sprig

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Prepare red oil in advance: add a wig to the sunflower oil and let it brew.
Step 2
Boil the chicken until tender, cool, grease with adjika and butter. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 180C.
Step 3
Prepare the sauce. Punch all ingredients in a blender for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Collect the dish. Allow the chicken to cool, cut it into pieces the size of a matchbox. Pour over the satsivi sauce, drizzle with red oil and garnish with a sprig of cilantro.
