Stuffed eggs
Stuffed eggs are an amazing snack. It seems to be nothing special - an egg and an egg, but for some reason at all parties they fly off the very first, no matter how many of them are cooked. We present you two new recipes for stuffed egg fillings - with bacon and with guacomole.
Ingredients
- For eggs with bacon:
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 5 thin slices of bacon
- 4 feathers of green onions
- 1/4 cup grated cheese
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
- For guacomole eggs:
- 6 eggs
- 1 avocado
- 5 sprigs of cilantro
- half hot red pepper
- half a small red onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp lime juice
- salt
- corn chips for decoration
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook for 6 minutes, then remove from heat. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water and then cool.
Step 2
Peel the eggs and cut in half. Remove the yolks and transfer to a bowl, mash until smooth.
Step 3
Bacon filling. Fry the bacon until crispy, transfer to paper towels, then chop.
Step 4
Chop green onions finely. Combine all ingredients with yolks. Fill the egg halves with the filling and garnish with bacon slices and green onions.
Step 5
Filling with guacomole. Peel the avocado and cut into very small cubes or mash with a fork. Finely chop the tomato, onion and hot pepper, chop the garlic and cilantro.
Step 6
Combine all ingredients with yolks. Fill the egg halves with the filling, garnish with crumbled chips.
