Turkish baklava
The Turks prepare baklava in the shape of "fingers" stuffed with a nut mixture. Very tasty!
Ingredients
- flour 300 g
- ghee 70 g
- milk 100 ml
- egg 1 pc.
- yolk 1 pc.
- salt 1 g
- yeast 0.5 tsp
- walnut 250 g
- sugar 250 g
- vanillin 1 g
- saffron 1 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Heat milk, mix with butter. Add eggs, salt, yeast. Sift flour and knead a soft elastic dough. Leave the finished dough in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
Step 2
At this time, you can do the filling. Lightly fry the walnuts and peel off excess husks and debris. Stir in sugar, vanilla and saffron and grind in a blender.
Step 3
Form balls from the approached dough, roll into an even circle and evenly grease with butter.
