Unleavened pita bread

Lavash is the easiest bread to bake at home. Of course, the most delicious lavash is obtained in tandoor or saj. But in the conditions of a city apartment, an ordinary frying pan, well heated over maximum heat, will do.

  • 325 g premium flour
  • 20 ml refined sunflower oil
  • 5 g of salt

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Mix all the sifted flour with 175 ml of water, vegetable oil and salt. Knead tight and dense dough, 4-5 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and leave at room temperature for 30-60 minutes.
Step 2
Divide the dough into 10 pieces. Can be divided into more or less. This calculation is suitable for flat cakes in a 28 cm pan.
Step 3
Roll each part into a ball. Use a rolling pin to roll it into a round cake 2-3 mm thick.
Step 4
Preheat a dry skillet well. Bake each pita bread on almost maximum heat for 20-30 seconds. from each side. Place the baked pita bread on top of each other. Cover with a tea towel and cool completely.
