Waffles with curdled milk with raisins and chicken liver pate
Ingredients
  • 200 g butter
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 400 ml curdled milk
  • 200 g light raisins
  • 2-3 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • vegetable oil
  • sweet red onion and chicken liver pate for serving
  • salt

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Place the raisins in a small saucepan. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour. Make sure that the water does not completely boil away; if necessary, add a little boiling water.
Step 2
Place the raisins on a sieve and dry with paper towels. Set aside a little for serving and grind most of it in a blender. Stir in barbecue sauce until smooth.
Step 3
For waffles, combine softened butter, flour sifted with baking powder, and eggs, beaten with a pinch of salt. add curdled milk. You should have a moderately thick, smooth dough.
Step 4
Using a waffle iron, bake the waffles, occasionally brushing them with vegetable oil. Serve the waffles with pâté, finely chopped onions and raisin-barbecue sauce mixture.
