Wontons with onions and pork
Wontons are a type of Chinese dumplings with a thin shell of dough and a knot-like shape. They are stuffed with chopped pork, shrimp mixed with ginger, onions, sesame oil and soy sauce. Wontons resemble small meatballs, so they are most often served with broth, which is eaten after the dumplings themselves. The dough is prepared in a choux method and differs in that it can be rolled out like paper, which is exactly what we need.
Ingredients
- hot water 0.5 glass (s)
- flour 2.5-3 glass (s)

Step 1
Cut into squares or circles.
Step 2
Since the dough dries quickly, it is placed on a damp towel and covered with it.
Step 3
Now about the fillings - they can be absolutely any - both sweet and salty. I had pork, soy sauce and ginger filling. Be sure to add protein to hold the minced meat together, the yolk will go to lubricate the dough.
Step 4
Fill the Wonton with the filling, brush the edges with the remaining yolk.
Step 5
Steam for 15-20 minutes - depending on the size.
