Fried Kuban meat strips
Meat struma are homemade noodle rolls stuffed with meat, cooked with vegetable broth and vegetables. It is satisfying, tasty and truly hearty.
Ingredients
- 1 large onion and 1 fleshy tomato
- vegetable oil
- 300 g homemade egg noodle dough
- 60 g butter
- 200 g minced pork
- 1-1.2 l of vegetable broth
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and blanched tomatoes. Fry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown, 3-4 minutes. Remove the frying with a slotted spoon.
Step 2
Roll out the dough into a rectangular layer 15 cm wide and 2 mm thick. Brush it with melted butter. Spread the minced meat over the entire surface in a thin layer and roll into a tight roll, rolling the dough along the length of the side.
Step 3
Cut the roll into about 40-50 g pieces each. Pinch the edges on one side to prevent the meat filling from flowing out. Fold the struts into a saucepan in 2-3 layers. Pour in broth. The liquid should only have completely covered the struts, add the fry. Cook for 10-12 minutes. Divide the strumba into plates (3 each) and add the broth in which they were cooked. Serve hot.
