Izmir kofte with potatoes
Ingredients
- minced lamb 500 g
- potatoes 5-6 pcs.
- tomatoes 3 pcs.
- onion 2 pcs.
- white stale bread, slice 3 pcs.
- chili pepper 1 pc.
- tomato paste 1 tbsp
- vegetable oil 2 tbsp
- milk 1/2 glass (s)
- parsley
- mint
- tmin 1 h.l.
- dried thyme 1/2 tsp
- ground black pepper
- salt to taste
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Add half the chopped onion, salt, pepper, finely chopped parsley and mint leaves, cumin and thyme to the minced meat. Cut the crusts off the bread. Soak the pulp in milk, then squeeze and add to the minced meat, knead everything with your hands.
Step 2
Blind your hands with oil and sculpt oval cutlets. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and put the tunics there. Bake them for 15-20 minutes.
Step 3
Peel and slice the potatoes.
Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into wedges.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the onion in it, add tomato paste, cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 6
Put the potatoes and hot pepper pod in a frying pan, stir, add salt to taste, fill with water so that it only covers the potatoes, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Step 7
Place the potatoes in a baking dish.
Step 8
Top with baked cutlets and tomato slices.
Step 9
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 160 degrees. Enjoy your meal!
