Large sweet pie with cottage cheese and candied fruits
Ingredients
  • 750 g puff yeast dough
  • 800 g cottage cheese 9-18% fat
  • 100 g sour cream 20-25% fat
  • 5 large eggs
  • 200 g of brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. l. sugar with natural vanilla
  • 100 g candied ginger
  • 100 g candied oranges
  • 2 tbsp. l. corn starch
  • 4 tbsp. l. flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 yolk and 1 tbsp. l. butter cream

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Take out the dough and let it rise slightly.
Step 2
For the filling, finely chop the candied fruits and roll in 2 tbsp. l. flour.
Step 3
Combine eggs and all sugar, beat until smooth. Beat the cottage cheese with an immersion blender along with sour cream, then add the egg mass and beat again.
Step 4
Add remaining baking powder and starch and beat. Add candied fruits and stir.
Step 5
Roll out the dough and place in a mold so that the edges hang down slightly. Place the filling over the dough and gently fold the edges over the filling.
Step 6
Brush the dough with the yolk and cream mixture. Bake the pie in the bottom third of the oven until the dough and filling are done, about 40 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.
