Liver from the city of Edirne
Tava Ciger is a kind of liver fast food especially popular in northwest Turkey. For a long time in Turkey, in the middle of the last century, Albanian liver was very popular. But one businessman from the city of Edirne decided to cook the liver even tastier and came up with this recipe. Ingredients
- liver any 500 g
- salt 1 tsp
- wheat flour 5 tbsp.
- vegetable oil 400 ml
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel the liver of films and streaks and cut very thinly. You can take beef or pork liver. I have chicken.
Step 2
Rinse the liver well from blood and dry it slightly.
Step 3
Mix flour and salt. Dip the pieces of liver in the flour and salt.
Step 4
Fry in boiling oil over low heat.
Step 5
Place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
