Meringue Pie
I found this recipe in my mother's cookbook, which is more than 30 years old ... As a child, she often cooked such a cake, I loved it very much. In my mother's book, it is called meringue cake (from Vali). So that's it. In the hostel, the names are simple and concise :)
Ingredients
- oil drain. 200 g
- eggs 2 pcs.
- salt 1 pinch (s)
- soda 2 pinch (s)
- cottage cheese (18%) 250 g
- vanilla
- apples 2-3 pcs.
- sugar in the dough 2 tablespoons
- meringue sugar 1/2 tablespoon
- flour 3 tbsp.
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Mix the oil with two yolks. Add 2 tbsp. sugar, salt and soda.
Step 2
Pour in 4 tbsp. flour and beat thoroughly with a mixer (at low speed in order to avoid a whirlpool of dough throughout the kitchen furniture).
Step 3
We mix cottage cheese with vanilla.
Step 4
Cover a baking sheet (25 cm diameter) with baking paper and spread the dough on the bottom. Then an even layer of cottage cheese.
Step 5
Put thin apple slices on top of the curd in rows.
Step 6
At the end, beat two squirrels with sugar and grease the whole cake.
Step 7
We send to the oven for 45 minutes at 120 ° C.
Step 8
When the meringue is ready, take the pie out of the oven and eat it!
