Oatmeal and Dried Fruit Bars

During the fast, you always want something sweet, but almost nothing is impossible. Prepare more of these bars - you can take them with you to work and on a long trip, give them to school - and be sure that you provide them (and yourself) with only the best!

Oatmeal and  Dried Fruit Bars
Ingredients
  • 150 g medium instant oatmeal
  • 200 g dates (seedless)
  • 50 g dry
  • 50 g dried cranberries
  • 100 g dried peaches
  • 40 g raisins
  • 50 g cashews
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 3 st. l. Teddy bear
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 50 ml apple juice

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Pour the dates with 100 ml of warm water and leave for 30 minutes. Put the dates and liquid in a blender, add honey and grind into a paste. Transfer to a heavy-bottomed saucepan, add apple juice and cinnamon, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. Cool slightly.
Step 2
Pour raisins with cranberries with warm water and leave for 10 minutes. Drain the water, dry the raisins.
Step 3
Spread the oatmeal evenly on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 150 ° C until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Transfer to a plate and cool.
Step 4
Finely chop nuts, peaches and dried apricots, mix with cereals, add raisins, cranberries and date paste.
Step 5
Place the mixture on a baking sheet covered with oiled parchment paper, flatten and cover with parchment on top too. Bake at 150 ° C until golden brown, 30 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, 10 minutes, and cut into 24 rectangles. Let them cool completely, store in parchment.
