Pancakes with apple confit
The whole trick of these pancakes is in a delicate apple sauce that looks like jam. They are perfect for any occasion - brunch or family dinner. And in the Maslenitsa week, baking such pancakes is a must.
Ingredients
- ice cream for serving
- egg - 2 pcs.
- sugar to taste
- salt to taste
- wheat flour - 150 g
- milk - 50 g
- vegetable oil - 5 g
- water - 50 g
- granny smith apple - 1 pc.
- sugar to taste
- apple juice - 200 g
- butter - 20 g
- cover - 2 g
- cloves - 2 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
For filling. Peel the apple, cut into slices. Put in a saucepan, add sugar, apple juice, butter and spices. Mix all the ingredients and simmer until soft, the apples should turn almost into jam.
Step 2
For pancakes. Mix eggs well with dry ingredients. Introduce milk, vegetable oil, water. Knead the dough well and let stand for 15-20 minutes.
Step 3
Bake pancakes in a greased skillet. Fold them in an envelope, arrange on deep bowls and pour over the resulting apple confit. Serve with a scoop of ice cream.
