Peach Blueberry Crumble

Crumble is a very light fruit dessert. It is best prepared with seasonal fruits and served with a scoop of ice cream.

Peach Blueberry Crumble
  • 5 peaches
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 60 ml orange juice
  • 50–60 g of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. l. starch
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • a pinch of grated lemon zest
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 120 g flour
  • 90 g oatmeal
  • 160 g cold butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp. l. heavy cream


Step 1
Preheat oven to 175 ° C.
Step 2
Place the peaches in a pot of boiling water and blanch for 3 minutes. Douse with cold water and peel. Cut the peaches into medium cubes.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine peaches, blueberries, orange juice, sugar, starch, cinnamon, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Step 4
Combine flour, oatmeal, sugar and salt. Cut the butter into cubes, add to the flour mixture and rub by hand until crumbs are obtained. Pour in the cream and stir quickly, you get large pieces.
Step 5
Place the fruit filling in a large ceramic baking dish, or fill 6 portion tins. Sprinkle with crumbs.
Step 6
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, until golden brown (for small molds, 20-25 minutes is enough)
Step 7
Serve warm or completely chilled with ice cream.
