Peach caprese

The famous Capri salad of mozzarella, tomatoes and basil is a source of inspiration for chefs around the world. For those who are tired of the classic version of the salad, we suggest preparing an appetizer with peaches and dry-cured ham.

Ingredients
  • 6 ripe peaches
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 3 large mozzarella balls
  • 130 g prosciutto, ham or similar dry-cured ham
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. l. balsamic cream
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Remove pits from peaches. Cut into slices 4–5 mm thick.
Step 2
Cut the mozzarella into 5 mm circles.
Step 3
Place peach wedges, mozzarella circles, prosciutto and basil leaves in a chaotic manner. Pour olive oil over the salad, season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Sprinkle the balsamic cream over the salad.
