Potato pancakes with green onions and sour cream
You can fry bacon slices with potato pancakes, or gravlax, or both.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1 large egg + 1 yolk
- 2 tbsp. l. flour
- salt
- melted butter
- sour cream and green onions for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and grate them on a fine grater. Spoon the resulting juice into a glass with a spoon, let it stand for 4–5 minutes. Starch will settle at the bottom of the glass - drain the liquid, and return the starch to the grated potatoes.
Step 2
Peel the onion and grate on a fine grater, mix with potatoes, add an egg, slightly beaten with yolk, salt, flour, mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Spoon the potato dough into a hot skillet with oil and brown the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Serve hot, with thinly chopped green onions and sour cream.
