Quick Blackcurrant Jam
The recipe for quick blackcurrant jam (it is also sometimes called "five-minute") is known to many, but in the cooking process itself there are options. We propose to check in practice the following, which seems to be very successful. For him, the berries are pre-crushed: they are passed through a meat grinder. Of course, you can punch the currants with a blender, but the consistency in this case will more resemble jam than jam. In our case, the berries are felt! Quick blackcurrant jam turns out to be very aromatic and has a pleasant jelly-like consistency. Try it!
Ingredients
- black currant - 1 kg
- drinking water - 250 ml

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Prepare jars for quick blackcurrant jam. Wash them with baking soda or detergent, then sterilize any way you like. Let the jars dry completely.
Step 2
Prepare black currants for making instant jam. Go through them, remove the branches, then put them in a colander and rinse with running water. Pat dry on paper towels.
Step 3
Pass the black currants through a meat grinder with a fine wire rack. Pour water into a large saucepan, add sugar and place on the stove. Bring to a boil and simmer for 6 minutes.
Step 4
Increase the fire to the maximum. Add minced black currants to the syrup and bring to a boil. Cook for 15 minutes, periodically skimming off the foam.
Step 5
Pour the quick blackcurrant jam carefully into the prepared jars. Cover and sterilize for 10 minutes. Roll and flip onto double folded towels. Let cool completely.
