Quinoa with apple and almond sauce
Quinoa with apple and almond sauce is ideal for a late breakfast. Prepare peanut sauce, bake an apple, and boil quinoa beforehand. And in the morning to assemble breakfast from ready-made "bricks" in minutes.
Ingredients
- quinoa - 120 g
- apple - 200 g
- almond sauce - 70 g
- almonds - 160 g
- water - 400 g
- coconut milk - 80 g
- cane sugar - 10 g
- salt - 4 g
- olive oil
- greens (ideally mini greens)
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Mix the quinoa with water in a ratio of one to two and cook until the grains are open.
Step 2
Bake the apple in foil at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare almond sauce: boil almonds in water, let them infuse and rest. Then add coconut milk and the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil again and let it brew again for 20-25 minutes. Beat with a blender and rub through a sieve. Salt to taste.
Step 4
Warm up the quinoa with the addition of olive oil, pour the peanut sauce onto a plate, put the quinoa on one side, put a baked apple, peeled from the skin next to it, decorate with herbs.
