Assorted kimchi

The Koreans consider their galvan national dish - kimchi - a healthy and very even dietary dish. They are sure that its daily use contributes to the resorption of fatty deposits, and if kimchi is also spicy (and Koreans only eat it spicy), then it is an effective cough remedy.

Assorted kimchi
Ingredients
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 4 large carrots
  • 2 parsnip roots
  • 2 long cucumbers
  • 3 green apples
  • 1 large ripe pear
  • 3-4 large heads of garlic
  • 7 cm fresh ginger root
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 bunch of green onions
  • 8-10 large Peking cabbage leaves
  • 100 g salted sprat
  • 50 g chili sauce (no additives)
  • 1 tbsp. l. red hot pepper
  • 2 tbsp. l. rice flour
  • sugar
  • coarse non-iodized salt

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Cut the onions into thin half rings, chop the green onions into 5 cm pieces. Combine both types of onions in a large bowl.
Step 2
Pour 60 ml of boiling water over the rice flour and brew while stirring. Cool, mix with chili sauce, hot red pepper, 1 tbsp. l. salt, sugar, ginger, garlic and sprat with pear paste. Toss with onion.
