Rice porridge with oranges
Usually people perceive rice porridge as something boring and uninteresting, and if you cook rice porridge with oranges, then you get a completely different story - bright, tasty and memorable.
Ingredients
- sugar - 20 g
- orange juice - 120 g
- orange, pulp - 120 g
- rice porridge - 250 g (for 1 serving)
- milk - 200 ml
- butter - 50 g
- mint - 1-2 leaves
- arborio rice - 200 g
- milk - 800 ml
- cream - 450 ml
- orange peel - 13 g
- condensed milk - 120 g
- salt - 5 g
- butter - 50 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Combine rice with milk (600 ml), cream, orange zest, salt. Simmer until cooked, add condensed milk at the end, cool.
Step 2
Prepare the sauce. Combine the sugar with orange juice, bring to a boil, boil, add the orange pulp at the end.
Step 3
Mix the finished rice porridge with the remaining milk (200 ml) and butter, warm up. Put the porridge on a plate. Top with the orange pulp, pour over the sauce, garnish with a sprig of mint.
