Snail with cottage cheese and pear for breakfast
The snail with cottage cheese and pear is ideal for breakfast for the whole family. The "trick" of this recipe is that we bake one "snail", but a large one, in the form of a pie - in an original, beautiful and time-saving manner.
Ingredients
- 400 g tender cottage cheese
- 6 sheets of filo dough
- 100 g sweet vanilla rusks
- 2 large pears
- 2 eggs
- 50 g pine nuts
- 1 tbsp. l. sesame
- 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- cinnamon on the tip of a knife
- 1 yolk and 1 tbsp. l. milk or water to grease the dough
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel and seed the pear, cut into cubes with a side of 7 mm, fry in 1 tbsp. l. butter until golden brown. Grind the crackers in a blender.
Step 2
Fry pine nuts in a dry skillet, 2-3 minutes. Make sure they do not burn.
Step 3
Beat cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and cinnamon with a blender. Stir in pear cubes, pine nuts, and bread crumbs.
Step 4
Grease two sheets of dough with a brush and lay the sheets on top of each other. Put the filling on the side of the sheets closest to you at a distance of 3 cm from the edge. Roll up the roll. In the same way, having folded 2 sheets on top of each other, prepare 2 more rolls.
Step 5
Cover a round baking dish with a diameter of 22-25 cm with paper and brush with olive oil. Place the first roll in the center of the mold with the seam down and roll like a snail. Roll the rest of the rolls around the first, moving from the center to the edge.
Step 6
Shake the yolk with 1 tbsp. l. milk or water and lubricate the snail. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in an oven preheated to 170 ° C for 30–35 minutes.
